Moral Lesson In A Bottle Of Water
The ones who passed the Lebanese border and reached Syria seemed to have the shock of what they lived in their own lands when they looked back behind. Most of the ones who came had relatives in Syria or a place to stay or as the most important among all of these, they could find a vehicle to pass the border… They were the tired people of the war who had to leave their country behind no matter their social and economical positions were…. A nice surprise was waiting for the Lebanese refugees who made very long vehicle queues after they passed the Syrian side. A world-famous nourishment company was distributing cold water to the ones who suffered from the hot weather, and was serving them to take a rest in the tents they put.
The behaviour of this global company that gave a hand even symbollicly to these people who suffered from the heat before all the other aid  organizations, cannot be interpreted as  only a show. Even if nobody could notice the Turkish trucks for help coming from the opposite direction, the only ones left trace in the minds of the people were the staff of the “trade help”…If we did not know how the events went on in the net of these complex relations in this so-called globalization, we would appreciate this symbolic help that would make these war-exhausted people feel that they were not alone…
Before understanding the pragmatism in a bottle of water, understanding the things lived in Lebanon and  objecting the massacre are meaningless. Because if you know that, this company that supplied cold water to the poeple who escaped from the Israeli bombardments is one of the biggest sponsors of Israel, you must look at this matter in another  point of view.
The ones financially supporting the bombs that exloded in the bodies of the children in South Lebanon, in the center of the capitalist net are giving cold water to the same people in Syrian border. Firstly I thought that it was one of the moral results of the globalization abrading the international borders when I saw the company staff carrying cold water to the cars that turned into fireballs in this torrid heat.
While objecitng the massacre that Israel commited from the moral point of view, if you have an opinion independent from the pragmatist relations of the global capitalism, it means that you don’t understand the things going on and you are supporting this injustice without noticing.
That is why the anti-globalists are not opposing the anti-war campaigns. Because, in the arguments of the system that you are opposing, “being opposition” is not possible.
Neglecting complex pragmatist relations of the global capitalism and the military and political results, mourning only after the deads in the massacres turns into cheating yourselves. From moral point of view, deliberately neglecting this is not lighter than the explanations of  J.Bolton, the UN representative of America about the Israeli massacre in Lebanon.
Morally the ones who were killed in Israel with the terrorist movements are not equal with the civilians in the Israeli operations.
The reason that makes the USA partner with the Israeli crime cannot be only reduced to the effects of the Jewish lobby on the American policy. The reason why America supports the Qana massacre is the same with the Iraqi invasion. The revolution of the global capitalism, the possible position of America within the following ten years and above all these before the Western civilization understands the basic crisis, it is not possible to solve the chaos of the ” moral presented in a bottle of cold water”…
This moral issue is not only limited with the Westerns and Americans who back up the massacre clearly. The moral contradiction that the narrow-minded rightist-conservatives who even cannot notice the dilemma of the integration with the liberal capitalism fell into  while criticizing Israel is bigger.
The objection of the ones to the crimes Israel commited  saying that “Money has no religion” in the global stock is a merit  is almost acting in the same way with those who distribute water to the Lebanese refugees.
The pragmatist relations of  the global capitalism are bringing their own moral values. How possible is it to defend your own moral values integrated with the system from economical and financial points of view?
